Free Schools: Why we are perfectly suited to you ...

"Free Schools are all-ability state-funded schools set up in response to what local people say they want and need in order to improve education for children in their community. The right school can transform a child’s life and help them achieve things they may never have imagined. Through the Free Schools programme it is now much easier for talented and committed teachers, charities, parents and education experts to open schools to address real demand within an area. The first Free Schools opened in September 2011." DfE Website 2012

Tribune are currently the ICT partner for the Krishna Avanti Primary Free School in Leicester, which is home to the UK's first Free School to open, back in September 2011. The school is one of the first in the UK to equip learners with Apple iPads and iPods as a single device capable of enriching learning, engaging learners through Apps and replacing the need for dictaphones, HD video cameras and digital cameras. In partnership with Tribune, they will also be the first primary school to embrace a true cloud computing environment, creating a seamless learning experience between the school, home and community. This is a truly exciting project for us and we are working very closely with the school and Sponsor to realise the vision for the Free School.
